This model captures the species' distinctive spots, dorsal fin profile and subtle body contours for easy painting and realistic display. Ideal for pond scenes, aquarium vignettes, shorelines and model railroad layouts. Includes: 3D-printable file optimized for small-scale printing. Suggested print orientation keeps the body supported and the dorsal fin crisp. Recommended materials: resin for highest detail or PLA for easy, economical prints. Suggested layer height: 0.05–0.12 mm. Minimal support needed around fin and belly; clean-up of small support touchpoints expected. Finish & mounting: Smooth, prime and paint with fine brushes or airbrush for best results; small mounting pin or putty works well to secure into basing materials. Model dimensions (HO-scaled): approximately 22 mm (length) × 8 mm (depth) × 9 mm (height).
