Marine Sextant - Nautical Prop

A highly detailed -scale handheld marine sextant designed as a prop for dioramas, ship bridge vignettes and model-railroad layouts. The sculpt reproduces the open C-shaped arc with degree markings, a central index arm with a fine adjustment knob and locking clamp, a pivoting horizon mirror assembly and a short sighting telescope mounted on a bracket. The underside includes a pistol-style handle with a textured grip and a small top mounting ring so the instrument can be held by figures or placed on console surfaces. After scaling, check small feature thicknesses and adjust as needed to ensure durability for your chosen use. Ideal uses: ship bridge dressing, officer’s desk displays, dockside vignettes and miniature museum-style cases. The sculpt is intentionally generic and non-branded so it fits multiple historical periods and fictional settings. Verify final thicknesses and clearances in your chosen production workflow and consider slight reinforcement of fine spokes for pieces intended for handling.
