Sewage Treatment Aeration Tank

A rectangular open-topped treatment tank in teal-painted steel, seated on a poured concrete pad. The rim is ringed by a tubular steel handrail and grated maintenance walkway, and a bridge of pipework and framing spans the centre of the basin.

Working details include large-bore inlet and outlet pipes with elbows and flanged joints running down the outside walls, valve wheels and gate actuators, orange-red control boxes mounted on the tank sides, and access hatches on the centre deck.

It is the right centrepiece for a municipal wastewater plant, an industrial park, a chemical works, or a paper mill scene, and it makes a strong sightline break at the back of a modern industrial layout or an urban skirmish board.
