Hooded Ranger Archer with Longbow

A hooded archer stands at rest on broken stone ground, longbow shouldered across her back and one hand relaxed at her side. A pale sigil is painted or tattooed on her brow beneath the deep green hood, giving her the look of a wandering ranger or forest scout rather than a rank-and-file soldier.

The costume is layered and full of gripping points for paint: a laced leather jerkin over a long belted tunic, loose linen sleeves, a crossed pair of shoulder and chest straps, bracers at the wrists and a quiver of fletched arrows slung at her hip. Fitted trousers and tall laced boots with folded cuffs finish the outfit, and the rubble-strewn round base ties her to a ruin or wilderness trail.

She works as a hero or scout leader for fantasy skirmish games, a guide figure in a woodland or medieval village diorama, or a narrative centrepiece on a ruined-keep display base. Paired with other adventurers she rounds out a classic dungeon-delving party.
