Large Corrugated Steel Grain Bin

A big galvanised farm grain bin built from bolted corrugated steel rings, with vertical stiffener ribs running the full height of the wall and a shallow conical roof of ribbed panels. A vented peak cap with a railed platform crowns the roof.

A bright yellow external stairway spirals up the side to a mid landing and then on to the roof hatch, with handrails throughout. A hopper access door and inspection panel sit at ground level on a poured concrete ring foundation.

A commanding structure for a farm, a grain elevator complex, a country co-op siding or a rural branch line on a layout or diorama.
