Slate-Plated Ox Fantasy Beast

A hulking bovine beast whose hide is armored in interlocking slabs of grey slate, laid like flagstones across its shoulders, flanks, and haunches. Between the stone plates the underlying muscle shows warm earthy tones, and a pair of pale curved horns sweep back from the lowered head.

The creature stands four-square on a rocky scenic base cut with stepped stonework and small tufts of ground growth, giving it a planted, monumental presence.
