Bare Dead Tree with Hollows

A leafless dead tree with a thick, deeply fluted trunk that splits into a handful of snapped and tapering limbs. Knots, burls and open hollows are cut into the bark across the whole height, giving plenty of shadow for a wash and dry-brush finish.

The flared root buttress spreads onto a thin oval ground plate, so the piece stands unaided on a table or can be sunk into a scenic base. The stylised, slightly gnarled shape suits both realistic and storybook settings.

Good for a haunted forest or graveyard diorama, a blasted battlefield edge on a wargame board, or a fantasy tabletop encounter that needs an ominous landmark.
