A stylised dead tree with a thick, twisted trunk that splits into a crown of bare, clawing branches. The bark is carved in deep flowing ridges that spiral up the bole, and a tall almond-shaped hollow opens in the front of the trunk, with smaller knot holes above it.

Heavy buttress roots flare out at the base and grip the ground, so the piece stands on its own without extra support. There is no foliage at all, leaving a stark silhouette.

A strong terrain accent for a haunted wood, a swamp, a winter or blighted landscape, or a lightning-struck field boundary. It suits fantasy tables, horror dioramas and rural layouts equally well.
