A dense low bush of succulent glasswort, built as a tight fan of upright fleshy stems springing from a dark woody crown. Each stem is segmented into small bead-like joints, giving the whole plant a knobbly, coral-like texture rather than leaves.
The colour runs in a gradient up the plant: near-black at the root mass, deep magenta and purple through the lower stems, then bright blue and violet at the tips. That vertical shift makes the bush read as a single strong colour accent from across a table.
It sits on a shallow oval base already dressed with tufted green grass and low ground cover. Use it on salt marsh, estuary, coastal dune and wetland scenes where glasswort naturally grows, or treat the stylised colouring as alien or enchanted flora for a fantasy garden, swamp or otherworldly board.
