1880s Gold Prospector with Drywasher

An old frontier prospector standing square with a small timber-and-iron drywasher box carried at waist height in both hands, its riffle screen and metal fittings clearly sculpted.

He wears a long tan canvas coat over a red plaid shirt with braces, a battered soft-brim felt hat, and patched, dirt-stained denim trousers tucked into worn boots. A full grey beard and deep-lined face give him decades of hard weather.

He belongs in a placer claim, a desert dry wash, a mining camp or an Old West boom-town street, and works nicely alongside pack mules, sluices and tent camps.
