Farm Fuel Depot with Twin Storage Tanks

A working farm fuel depot: two large green horizontal storage tanks with riveted seams, domed ends and vent stacks, sitting side by side on a bolted steel lattice support frame. A vertical caged ladder runs up the frame to the tank tops.

Beneath the tanks sits a bright red pipe manifold with a hand pump, gate valves, elbows and a delivery outlet ready for a hose. The whole assembly stands inside a low concrete spill containment bund with weathered, stained walls and a rusted rim.

It is a strong industrial detail for a farmyard, grain elevator complex, rural depot or track-side fuelling point on a layout, and it works equally well as terrain cover on a modern or post-war wargame board.
