Pangolin

A pangolin captured on the move, its body armored in overlapping horny plates from the pointed snout to the long tapering tail. The small head, sturdy digging claws and low-slung posture make this shy insect-eater instantly recognizable.

The animal is an unusual, educational addition to tropical and savanna wildlife dioramas and zoo scenes. Its distinctive scaly shell makes it a memorable small-creature display piece.
