MAS-49 Semi-Automatic Rifle

A mid-century French semi-automatic service rifle with full-length wooden furniture, a fixed box magazine forward of the trigger guard, and a long slender barrel with front sight assembly. A separate detachable optical sight is modeled alongside the main weapon.

The receiver, charging mechanism, sling swivels, and stock contours are cleanly defined, capturing the solid, workmanlike lines of a post-war battle rifle. The green-toned woodwork and blued metal give it an authentic field appearance.

A detailed accessory for military dioramas, armory and weapon-rack vignettes, and post-war or Cold War tabletop wargaming. Ideal as a loose battlefield prop or paired with infantry figures of the era.
