A German Gewehr 98 service rifle of the early 20th century, modeled with its long full-length wooden stock and blued steel furniture. The turned-down bolt handle, box magazine, tangent rear sight, and stepped fore-end barrel bands are all clearly defined.

The slim silhouette and long barrel give the classic bolt-action infantry-rifle profile of the two World Wars.
