Young Dromedary Camel Standing

An adolescent dromedary camel standing square on all four legs, with the long neck raised and the head turned slightly to one side. The single hump is modest and softly furred, and the shaggier ruff along the throat and forelegs contrasts with the smooth, sun-bleached coat over the flanks.

The young proportions read clearly: long legs, a slim barrel and a hump that has not yet filled out. Broad splayed foot pads and knee calluses are sculpted in, so the animal stands convincingly on sand, gravel or hard-packed track.

Ideal for desert and North African dioramas, caravan and market scenes, nativity or biblical groupings, and pulp or historical skirmish boards that need livestock rather than another combatant.
