Broken Tree Stump with Saplings

A large broken hardwood stump with a splintered, fibrous crown and heavy buttress roots gripping the soil, ringed by young saplings, loose stones and patches of ground moss on a round groundwork base.

The shattered top reads as storm damage or an old logging cut, which makes it useful for woodland dioramas, a cleared right-of-way beside a rail line, or forest terrain on a skirmish table.

Place it at the edge of a treeline to break up open ground, or use it as a natural objective marker and line-of-sight blocker on a fantasy or historical board.
