Communications Equipment Shelter

A container-style equipment cabin for telecoms and site electronics. The corrugated steel body has boxed corner castings, a heavy lid cap, a flush access door with recessed handle and louvred vents low on the walls.

An external cooling unit with twin fan grilles and a control panel is bolted to one side, its conduit looping down into a bank of six sealed cable entry ports, and the whole shelter is bedded on an anchored concrete pad.

Perfect at the foot of a radio or cell mast, alongside a substation, on a rail signalling site, or as a base station in a disaster response or military field camp. Its blocky shape also works well as line-of-sight blocking terrain on a modern wargaming board.
