An underground mine electrician standing head-down, working a small connector or splice between his gloved hands. He wears dark blue coveralls with a name tag and pocket flaps, scuffed steel-toe boots, and a yellow hard hat carrying a lit cap lamp with the cable run back over his shoulder.
Ear defenders hang around his neck, and his belt carries the lamp battery pack, a boxed instrument case and a pair of red-handled pliers on a clip. The coveralls are grimed at the knees and cuffs, and he stands on a flat square plate base.
He suits a late twentieth-century mining diorama - a shaft station, a conveyor drive house or a maintenance bay - and works generally as a heavy-industry maintenance figure on an industrial layout.
