Antique Wooden Screw Olive Press

A traditional wooden olive press built around a heavy central iron screw. Two thick upright timber posts frame the mechanism, with a large threaded shaft driving a pressing plate down into a round collection basin that funnels the pressings into a small wooden catch-trough at the base.

Brass banding, forged fittings, and a turning bar handle add authentic period detail, while the coarse timber grain reads as a well-used piece of rural workshop equipment. The compact upright form makes it an easy standalone prop or centerpiece.
