Gary Thompson is a detailed, 3D-printable modern male figure posed as a curious onlooker at a crime scene. Sculpted with realistic proportions and contemporary civilian clothing — jacket, trousers and shoes — this miniature is ideal for dioramas, model displays and tabletop scenes that call for a grounded, modern character. Model notes - Supplied as a high-detail single-part STL sized to a standing height of approximately 55 mm. Optimized for printing at common tabletop scales (see tags). - Includes a flat tab at the feet for easy gluing to bases; tab can be trimmed or removed for custom basing. Printing recommendations - Resin (SLA/DLP): 0.03–0.05 mm layer height for best detail. Minimal supports recommended around ankles and under the jacket hem; orient slightly reclined to reduce facial supports. - FDM: 0.1–0.2 mm layer height, use fine nozzle and support undercuts (arms and jacket). Print with moderate infill (15–25%). - If hollowing to save material, maintain 1.5–2.5 mm wall thickness and add drainage/vent holes. Finishing - Remove supports carefully, sand seam lines, prime with a fine-grain primer and paint with acrylics for best results. Fits standard 20–25 mm scenic bases after trimming the foot tab. This miniature is provided for printing and use in personal projects, model displays and dioramas. Resizing is supported but keep proportions consistent for realistic results.
