Civil War Confederate Infantryman

A Confederate foot soldier stands at ease in a butternut-brown shell jacket and trousers, a slouch hat shading his bearded face. He rests a muzzle-loading rifle-musket with fixed bayonet upright at his side while studying a small paper or card, a leather haversack and rolled bedroll slung across his shoulder.

The worn field kit and 1860s uniform place him squarely in the American Civil War, ideal for a marching column, a camp scene, or a battlefield vignette.

A period historical figure for a diorama, a wargaming regiment, or a model railroad depicting the war years.
