A recreational diver captured in the giant stride entry, one leg thrown forward off a platform with the other trailing, one hand holding the mask and regulator to his face and the other steadying the chest harness. He wears a full navy wetsuit with light piping, an orange buoyancy jacket with dump valves and pockets, a yellow cylinder with a first stage and hoses, weight belt, gloves and long black fins.
Hose routing, tank bands, jacket buckles and fin ribs are all separately cut, and the mask and mouthpiece read clearly on the face. The forward-leaning pose sits on a small round pad that can stand in for a boat deck or dock edge.
Made for waterfront dioramas: a dive boat gunwale, a harbour ladder, a lake dock or a salvage operation. Combine with water effects and a moored boat for a modern marine scene, or use as a specialist figure on a contemporary skirmish board.
