Standard Dress Diver with Brass Helmet

A hard-hat diver in classic standard dress, walking forward with one hand steadying the corrugated air hose that runs over his shoulder. The star of the piece is the heavy brass helmet, with its ringed faceplate, side and top viewports, bolted breastplate and threaded hose fitting. Below it he wears the canvas dive suit with a weighted belt and the characteristic strapped, heavy-soled boots.

The trailing air hose is what makes the piece work in a scene, running back to an implied surface tender and pump crew and instantly explaining the whole operation.

Excellent for harbour and salvage dioramas, dockside and pier layouts, shipwreck vignettes, and early-20th-century marine engineering scenes.
