A Victorian-era volunteer fireman swings a full wooden pail across his body, ready to pass it down the line. He wears the classic kit of the period: a brass-crested leather helmet with a long rear brim, a heavy double-breasted red wool coat belted at the waist, matching trousers and tall brown leather boots.

The bucket is banded with iron hoops and slopping over the rim, and the strain in his shoulders and set jaw give the figure real effort.

Made for a bucket-brigade line at an 1800s town fire: rank several together running from a pump or water trough to a burning storefront. He also fits any late-Victorian Main Street, firehouse or period railroad layout that needs civic life.
