A mid-century firefighter hauls an unconscious casualty across his shoulders in a classic rescue carry. He wears a long yellow-trimmed turnout coat with reflective bands, heavy rubber boots and a leather helmet with a numbered front shield.

The rescued figure hangs limp over his back, arms and legs trailing, which gives the pairing a real sense of weight and urgency. Both bodies are sculpted as one piece on a simple round groundwork disc.
