A firefighter caught mid-climb: both hands closed around ladder rungs above his head, one boot planted on a lower rung with the knee driven high and the trailing leg extended straight down. The whole pose leans into the climb, so it reads correctly when the figure is fitted to a ladder or a fire escape.

Turnout gear is fully detailed: a tan bunker coat and trousers with reflective striping at the cuffs, hem and chest, a leather-style helmet with a front shield, a full-face breathing mask with a corrugated hose running to a yellow air cylinder on a harnessed backplate, cargo pockets on the thigh, and heavy leather boots.

Designed for a 1980s or later fire scene: climbing the aerial of a ladder truck, mounting a tenement fire escape, or working a roof line above a burning storefront. He also suits a fire-station diorama or a drill-tower vignette on a modern layout.
