A fire officer running the scene: portable radio held up to the side of his face in one hand while the other arm stretches out to point a crew where he wants them. It is the single most useful pose on any fire ground vignette.

He is in full turnout gear with reflective striping on the coat cuffs, chest and trouser cuffs, a traditional long-tailed helmet with a numbered front shield, a breathing mask over his face with the supply hose looping back to the air pack on his shoulders, gloves and rubber boots.

Place him in front of a working pumper, at a doorway on a burning structure, or as the incident commander in a 1980s town fire scene. Also a strong anchor figure for a rescue diorama.
