A present-day structural firefighter braced behind a heavy large-bore nozzle, both hands locked on the barrel and bale. He is in full turnout gear: helmet with a numbered front shield, hood, breathing mask over the face, a coat and trousers banded with reflective stripes, and a compressed-air cylinder riding high on his back.
The stance tells the story: feet planted wide, body leaning into the line, elbows tucked to fight the reaction force of a heavy stream. Cargo pockets, a radio strap and a tool loop are sculpted onto the coat, and the boots are the tall pull-on type worn on the fireground.
Built for a modern fire-scene diorama: put him at the end of a supply line from an engine, working a defensive stream into a burning warehouse or a car fire. He also suits a mutual-aid scene alongside pump operators, a chief and a hydrant team on a contemporary town layout.
