A grinning woman angler holds up a big copper-bronze redfish across both hands, thumb hooked in its jaw and tail swept out to her side. The fish is sculpted with clear scale texture, a pale belly and the dark spot near the tail that marks the species.

She is dressed for a warm-water flats day: navy ball cap over a ponytail, wraparound sunglasses, a red long-sleeved sun hoodie over a light collared shirt, khaki cargo shorts and lace-up boots.
