Patriotic Top Hat Parade Float

A tandem-axle flatbed trailer dressed as a patriotic parade float. The centrepiece is an enormous stovepipe top hat with red and white striped crown and a blue star-spangled band, wrapped in heavy gold swag rope.

The deck is boxed in with a low red railing hung with red, white and blue fan bunting and a row of shield plaques, with gold fringe skirting the trailer frame and a small set of steps up onto the platform. A long drawbar and hitch ring run out front.

Made for an Independence Day or Memorial Day parade scene on a small-town main street, a civic pageant on a layout, or a fairground staging area diorama. The plain shield panels can be painted with your own town or club names.
