Veterans Honor Parade Float Trailer

A single-axle flatbed trailer dressed as a parade float. The plank deck carries a low railing of square posts with gold rope garlands swagged between them, a holly wreath tied with a ribbon hung on the front rail, and gold stars fixed along the skirt.

Patriotic red, white and blue bunting panels with star fields wrap the deck edge, and a drawbar with a lunette ring runs forward from the frame. The rubber-tyred wheel and steel hub are fully modelled.

It suits a Memorial Day, Fourth of July or Veterans Day procession from the mid twentieth century onward. Fill the deck with standing figures and a banner, hitch it behind a pickup, and run it down a main street on a town layout or parade diorama.
