Frozen Man with Desk Fan Vignette

A comic winter vignette: a stout man sits slumped on a low stool beside a small timber table, frozen solid and dripping. Icicles hang from his knitted cap, scarf, sleeves and knees, meltwater runs off the table edge, and he waves a folded hand fan while a vintage cage-style desk fan blasts him from the tabletop.

Everything is sculpted as one connected group on an oval plinth of ice-crusted flagstones, with frost pooling around the boots and table legs. The exaggerated head and stubby limbs are cartoon proportions rather than realistic anatomy, and the frozen tears and gaping mouth carry the joke.
