Ice Fisherman Drilling with a Hand Auger

An angler leaning into a hand auger, turning the crank handle as the blue spiral flighting bites down through the ice. He is bundled up for the cold in a heavy teal parka with red trim, insulated dark trousers and rubber-bottom winter boots, topped with a fur-lined trapper hat.

The round base is a frozen surface with a freshly cut hole around the auger, a red skimmer scoop lying on the ice and a bucket standing ready beside him for the catch.
