Elevated Bridge Control Tower with Stairs

A glazed operator's cabin raised on a braced steel trestle. The cabin is fully windowed on three sides for sightlines over the water and roadway, with a flat roof, a railed inspection walkway around the top, and riveted plate cladding below the sill line.

An access tower runs up the rear corner carrying a switchback stair with landings and handrails, a caged ladder, and a bundle of risers and conduit feeding the machinery. The whole assembly sits on a plain circular pad that can be cut away and blended into a quay or bridge deck.

Built as the control house for a lift, swing or bascule bridge, but equally at home as a yard tower, dock supervisor's cabin, or industrial signal post on a modern layout or urban wargame board.
