Blue Steel Transformer Enclosure

A pad-mounted electrical enclosure with a shallow pitched roof, finished in a strong industrial blue with brass-toned hardware. Two hinged front doors are studded with round bolt heads, closed by paired lever latches, and fitted with louvred ventilation grilles top and bottom.

Extra hinges and a smaller louvred panel run down the left side, and the whole cabinet is bolted to a black steel base plinth with triangular gusset brackets at each corner. Fine scratches and chipping show around the door edges.

Drop it beside a substation fence, a factory wall, a station platform or a trackside power feed on a layout, or use it as low scatter cover in a modern industrial skirmish scene.
