A ground-level utility transformer cabinet in weathered teal green, sitting on its own poured concrete pad. The squat box has ribbed sheet-metal sides, a raised lipped roof and a hinged mesh-grille vent panel let into the top for heat dissipation.
One end carries a bolted access plate with a large circular cable gland and heavy conduit elbows running down and out to the pad, while the flanks show welded seams, panel joints and chipped paint scraped back to bare metal.
Exactly the piece of street furniture that makes a modern scene believable: drop it on a verge, in a parking lot corner, beside an industrial fence line, or at a substation on a layout. It also serves as low hard cover on a modern or near-future wargaming board.
