A municipal water tower with a large white spherical tank carried on a heavy fluted column. A railed catwalk circles the tank at its base, a second smaller railing rings the domed cap, and a caged access ladder climbs the shaft alongside exposed riser and overflow piping.

Towers of this squat spheroid pattern went up across European and American towns from the 1930s through the postwar decades, serving suburbs, rail yards and industrial estates. Weathering on the concrete and the rust-red railings suits a working, slightly tired setting.

Use it as a tall vertical landmark at the back of a town layout, beside an engine shed or factory, or as a recognisable objective marker on a modern gaming board.
