A spherical/cabot-shaped polished copper kettle (rounded body with short spout and upward collar) suspended by a wooden-handled copper/brass hanger from a tall decorative wrought-iron stand. The kettle body shows a hammered/polished copper surface with three short brass feet and a short slightly tapered spout to the right. A small hinged copper lid hangs near the handle. Below the kettle is a small copper spirit/burner housing held in an iron bracket; further down between the tripod legs is a decorative copper weight or reservoir and a central turned iron finial. Visible materials include polished copper (kettle body, small burner/reservoir), brass (spout collar, small fittings), wrought iron (stand, bracket, scrollwork), and a short wooden or dark-stained handle rod.
