A single-bay commercial shopfront built as a barber shop, finished in bright turquoise with a magenta-trimmed fascia sign board above the windows. A classic spiral barber pole with a chrome ball cap is mounted on a bracket at the corner, and a slim flue pipe rises behind the parapet.
The whole glazed frontage has been smashed out. Jagged shards cling to the window frames on both sides of the recessed centre entrance, and the door glass is starred and broken. Through the openings you can see the interior fitted out with two red upholstered barber chairs, a back counter with bottles, a mirror station and cardboard boxes stacked on the floor.
It suits a mid-to-late twentieth century or modern American main street, and it is especially useful when a scene needs to look like trouble has already come through — a riot aftermath, a hurricane-hit block, an abandoned downtown or a zombie outbreak. Line it up with other storefronts on a layout, or use it as a building frontage for a modern skirmish board.
