An underground miner pausing to check a chunk of ore. He holds a short rock hammer in one hand and turns the sample over in the other, head tilted down to inspect it. His hard hat carries a front-mounted lamp with the cable running back to a battery on his belt.

He wears heavy work coveralls with a cinched belt, strapped knee pads and tall leather boots, the everyday kit of a 1950s coal or hard rock mine. He comes on a simple round rock-textured base.

Use him at a mine adit or head frame, beside an ore cart or tipple on a layout, in an assay office vignette, or as part of a shift crew in a mining town diorama.
