A 1950s railroad track worker bent over a long claw bar, both gloved hands stacked on the shaft as he levers a spike out of a tie. He wears bib overalls over a work shirt, a soft engineer's cap and scuffed lace-up work boots, with the fabric worn pale at the knees and streaked with grease.

The whole body is committed to the pull: shoulders rolled forward, back rounded, one boot set against the rail for leverage. The forked head of the bar is sculpted separately at the bottom so it sits convincingly against a rail base.

Built for a section-gang scene on a mid-century layout: a tie-replacement crew at a grade crossing, a siding rebuild, or a maintenance-of-way vignette beside a work train. Pairs well with spike mauls, tie tongs and a foreman figure.
