A soldier hanging in his harness beneath a fully deployed round canopy, legs pressed together with the knees bent and the feet up in the prepare-to-land position, head down watching the ground come up.

He wears olive drab combat dress with webbing, a bulky pack, and a helmet fitted with goggles. Fine rigging lines run up to the canopy, which is sculpted in alternating blue and white gores with a taut, air-filled dome. The whole assembly is carried on a slim support rising from a green round base.

Made for an airborne drop scene, a landing zone vignette, or a hanging display over a battlefield table alongside ground troops and transport aircraft.
