An airborne trooper of the Vietnam period captured head-down in a tumbling freefall, body curled into a tuck with knees drawn up and one arm crossed at the chest. The piece is carried on a curved support arm rising from a round plinth, so the figure floats clear of the ground.
He wears a tan jump coverall with bellows pockets and buckled cuffs, over a full green harness with leg straps, chest reserve and quick-release fittings. A green steel helmet with a white star device and goggles, plus unit shields on the sleeve and pocket, finish the kit; brown jump boots complete the look.
Ideal hung above a Vietnam-era drop zone, displayed on the supplied stand as an action piece, or used as an inbound reinforcement marker on a 1960s skirmish table.
