A Vietnam-era paratrooper caught in freefall, body pitched forward and horizontal with legs trailing and one arm swung up across the chest. He wears tiger-stripe camouflage fatigues, a netted steel helmet with a chin strap, and a full harness with a chest-mounted reserve.

A bulky main pack rides high on his back, a kit bag is strapped below, and a slung rifle with a wooden stock and long magazine lies along his side. Jungle boots with cleated soles complete the load, and the figure is carried on a slim post fitted to a round display base.
