WWII Paratrooper Pulling the Ripcord

An airborne trooper caught in freefall a moment after exiting the aircraft, body arched with the legs trailing and one hand snatching down on the red ripcord handle at the chest.

He wears a brown jump smock over olive trousers with reinforced knee and thigh pockets, tall laced jump boots, webbing straps crossing the torso, a bulky main pack on the back and a reserve chute on the chest. The helmet carries goggles pushed up on the shell.

The figure is mounted on an angled post rising from a round base, so he can be posed in mid-air above a drop-zone diorama or a 1944 European battlefield table.
