WWII Airman Seated Cockpit Figure

A Second World War aircrewman sculpted in a seated flying position, back straight and legs bent to fit a cockpit seat. He wears a leather flight helmet with goggles pushed up on the crown, an oxygen mask hanging loose at the cheek, a green flight jacket and trousers, a webbing harness over the chest and a bulky canvas parachute pack across his lap.

Heavy brown flying boots, buckled straps and pouch detail carry the period, and the figure is cast on a small post and disc so it stands upright for painting before it is fitted.
