A smiling mid-century woman perched on a low drum-shaped stool, hands folded together in her lap, ankles turned and one red pump lifted off the ground. She wears a sleeveless red dress with white polka dots, a fitted bodice and a very full circle skirt that flares out over the seat, plus a pearl necklace and set curled blonde hair.

The skirt is sculpted with real weight and swing, which gives the piece a strong flowing silhouette and an easy paint job of one field colour plus dots. The drum stool comes as part of the model on a plain round base, so she can be used as supplied or cut free and placed on other furniture.

A charming character accent for a 1950s scene: a diner counter, a soda fountain, a beauty parlour, a record shop or a front porch. She also works as seated life in a station waiting room or a period living-room interior.
