1880s Constable with Drawn Truncheon

A stocky Victorian constable steps forward with his wooden truncheon raised across his chest, jaw set and eyes fixed ahead. He wears the dark blue high-collared tunic with brass buttons and gold collar braid, and a badge-plated custodian helmet.

A leather duty belt carries a holster and a rolled pouch, and the trousers break over polished black shoes. He is cast on a plain cobblestone disc.

Made for crowd trouble, a market brawl or a back-alley pursuit in a Victorian town diorama, and a natural opponent for period street ruffians on a skirmish board.
