A Victorian-era constable standing on guard with a wooden truncheon held up across his chest in one hand and the other fist closed at his side. He wears a domed custodian helmet with a badge plate and chin strap, a long high-collared tunic with a row of buttons and a numbered collar, and a leather duty belt with a pouch and a holstered pistol.
The tunic skirt, buttoned front, helmet ribs and belt fittings all read clearly, and the boots and trouser break are cut sharply for a dark uniform that needs edge highlighting rather than colour. He stands on a plain round disc.
Suited to late Victorian street scenes: a gaslit pavement, a market lane, a dockside alley or a railway station approach on a period layout. Also useful as a watchman or authority figure in a gothic horror or steam-era gaming board.
