A moustached Victorian city constable sitting back on a slatted park bench, a bread roll in one hand and a cup and saucer balanced in the other. He wears a high-collared blue tunic with two rows of buttons, matching trousers and a domed custodian helmet with a brass badge.

Duty kit is sculpted in full: a wide leather belt with a heavy buckle, a pouch, and a wooden truncheon hanging at his hip. The bench and a small earth base with tufts of grass and loose stones come as part of the piece.

A great slice-of-life vignette for an 1880s street corner, a station platform or a town park on a Victorian layout. Set him beside a lamp post and railings with passers-by for a proper period city scene.
